It begins

I have been struggling with the idea of starting a blog for some time. Part of the issue is not being sure that I really will enjoy doing it. I always feel guilty starting something and then dropping it. So my teaching trip to Australia with Ambassadors of Reconciliation seemed a great opportunity to experiment with the concept with a limited commitment. The trip is 6 weeks long, a reasonable period of time to experiment with blogging.

Of course, Australia is not the place to figure out how all this works, so I thought I would begin a few weeks in advance. I'll be playing around with this blog for the next few weeks. The intention is to be blogging daily by the time we hit Australia. My teaching partner, Ted Kober, and I will hopefully trade off on the blogging duties. Our objective is to share with our brothers and sisters some of our experiences as we work with Lutheran Church Australia in developing a culture that supports a lifestyle of reconciliation with the Body of Christ in Australia.

In any event, that's the plan. We'll see where He takes us.
